Rain

Hello,
Today is a rainy icky day! Rain sounds beautiful and relaxes me mentally, but makes my nose run and my bones achy!

Rain

Drip, Drop,
Softly on a small child's nose
Trickle down, down to the the fresh blades of grass
Soaks into the dry thirsty earth
Drip, Drop,
Pouring inside an open wound
Screaming in pain
Cleansing the infection
Drip, Drop,
Sprinkling on a ladybug
Washing it clean
Exposing its brightness that keeps away the enemies
Drip, Drop,
Gushing down
Gutters over flow
Washing away the grim of life
Drip, Drop,
Slowly stopping
Drip, Drop,
Rushing towards the drain
Making a waterfall
Filling a half empty glass
Washing a half full innocence
Purifying a soul
